The LF-V — efficient, practical and cost-effective.
Reaching a belt speed of up to 800 meters per minute, the LF-V achieves a production yield exceeding 100,000 Pure-Pack/Combibloc format sleeves per hour. The LF-V's impressive format flexibility, integration of the Leary QA system, and low-friction components, which preserve a dust- free and hygienic production environment, all seamlessly work together in ensuring the delivery of a wide range of high-quality cartons without the need for intensive maintenance routines. These achievements are made within a physical footprint of 19 meters on the LF-V's standard two pre-fold section configuration.

The LF-V 800/800-E sealer improves on the previous generation LF-IV 700 by offering, among other improvements, an 800 meter max belt speed from the previous 700 meter and can now be configured with either conventional gas burners or hot air heat source nozzles for greater versatility.
High stability,

The LF-V integrates the same field-proven drum drive design of the LF-III sealer, inheriting its ease of maintenance. The main drive motor is placed at the midpoint of the line to shorten the length of the V-belts, minimizing backlash and bringing greater stability to the carrier belts.

The LF-V is tailored to converters that demand efficient make-ready and high production yields even with short runs.The LF-V's standard configuration is equipped with the LS-916 quality assurance system with automatic carton ejection by W.H. Leary Co.
Hot Air Sealing on the LF-V 800-E
The LF-V 800-E features a state of the art hot air sealing system by Leister AG, enabling hot air sealing of aseptic cartons on IPBM sealers for the first time.

Ease of Setup
When switching between cartons of different sizes, hot air burners are proven to be easier and quicker to adjust. This allows less experienced machine operators to set up the equipment and achieve proper sealing with minimal specialized training and knowledge.

Zero Oxidation
Similar to the LF-V 800's current-generation flame sealing system, hot air sealing on the LF-V 800-E achieves side seam welds without the risk of oxidizing the polyethylene layer of cartons, unlike older flame sealers. This results in higher-strength welds more resistant to delamination.

Sustainable by Design
For converters seeking to minimize both the environmental impact and cost of production, the LF-V 800-E provides you the flexibility to power the sealer using 100% renewably generated electricity, such as solar and other low-LCOE sources.
